All security staff undergo training which includes
· Introduction to the security industry and roles and responsibilities of security officers · Patrolling · Access Control · Searching · Security and Emergency Systems · Fire Safety · Health and Safety at Work · The Law · Emergencies · Customer Care and Social Skills · Communication and Reporting · Equality and Diversity · Avoiding Conflict and Reducing Risk · Defusing Conflict
· Resolving ConflictPost –incident Considerations and Learning from Conflict
Additional modules may be added where the customer specifies or we feel the necessity, for example:
First Aid at Work (HSE approved certificate)
Taking reports from third parties
Observation and use of electronic equipment.
E.S commit to ensuring that all of our Security Officers are fully trained on site, and that their duties are carried out as agreed within our comprehensive Assignment Instructions.
Our security officers are encouraged, and assisted, to undertake the SITO Professional Guarding Course. This ongoing training helps to improve Security Officers knowledge and skills when undertaking their duties.
